Prabhu Insurance accounts a profit of 13.08 crore for 3rd quarter; EPS stands at Rs 25.33

Prabhu Insurance has published the 3rd quarter report for the current fiscal year. 

As per the report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 13.08 crores. The same was Rs 10.64 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. PRIN currently has an EPS of Rs 25.33.

PRIN has collected a net premium of Rs 39.44 crore, the same was Rs 36.62 last year. Similarly, the net claims throughout the period amounted to Rs 12.01 crore, up from Rs 14.36 crore in the previous year. The company has 52.51 thousand policies, the same was 56.81 thousand last year. 

The life insurance company paid a fee of Rs 1.44 crore to the agents. The same amounted to Rs 1.63 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fy. 

PRIN currently has a paid-up capital of Rs 68.84 crore after the adjustment of 19.20% bonus share, it has a general reserve of 9.49 crore.
