Sagarmatha Insurances net profit surges by 18.52% in 3rd Quarter; EPS Stands at Rs 42.16

Sagarmatha Insurance has published the 3rd quarter report for the current fiscal year. 

As per the report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 17.02 crores. The same was Rs 14.36 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. SIC currently has an EPS of Rs 25.33.

SIC has collected a net premium of Rs 65.75crore, the same was Rs 59.83  last year. Similarly, the net claims throughout the period amounted to Rs 28.44 crore, up from Rs 26.94 crore in the previous year. The company has 1lakh policies, the same was 72.22 thousand last year. 

The life insurance company paid a fee of Rs 3.06 crore to the agents. The same amounted to Rs 2.54 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fy. 

SIC currently has a paid-up capital of Rs 53.82 crore. it has a general reserve of 38.83 crore.
