Civil Bank Promoter shares fully sold in auction ; EPF bags majority shares
Civil Bank promoter shares are finally sold in the 3rd re-auction, this was possible due to the bid placed by Employee provident fund
As per the officials of Laxmi Capital, EPF had placed a bid for entire auctioned shares at a price of Rs 100. But the company bagged 27,58,800 unit shares as there were some bidders bidding for a higher price. Likewise, Rastriya Beema company also received 1.45 lakh shares at the similar price. The remaining 88,410.25 shares were grabbed by general public.
A total of 36 applications were received that included one with a bid price as high as Rs 150.
Civil Bank had auctioned 29.92 lakh units promoter shares from 2nd Jestha to 9th Jestha, 2075. The company had previously undergone twice for the auction, but the insufficiency in applications led the company to do it for the 3rd time.
