Central Bank issuing T-bill worth Rs 13.33 arba today !!!

Nepal Rastra Bank is issuing Treasury bill worth Rs 13.33 arba today. These will be allotted to the applicants tomorrow (i.e. on Tuesday).

NRB is issuing  T-bill with a maturity period of 28, 92, 182 and 364 days. The one with 28 days maturity period will be matured on Baisakh 11, 2075 whereas the one with 92 days life will mature on 12th Asar. 

Likewise, T-bills with life of 182 and 364 days will expire on 16th Asar and 12 Chaitra, 2075 resp. 

Treasury bills are the bonds issued by the central bank and has the lowest risk. These are of short period with a life of less than a year. T-bills are issued to meet short term mismatchs in receipts and expenditures.
