Investors protest on a roll ; No trading in Nepse today

Though the Nepse is open today, investor forums have requested all the brokers to not place any order. The protest done by investors is against the circular issued by Inland Revenue Department that eliminated the rule of base rate for calculation of right and bonus shares. 

The investors had protested in Nepal Stock Exchange premises yesterday and the same is being done today. Though a turnover of 43 crores was done yesterday, no trading has been done today. 

The brokers offices are fully vacant and a strong crowd is seen in the Nepse premises. No trading by the day end will demonstrate investors and broker's unity and pressurize the government against the wrong move.
