Janata Bank to have its 8th AGM on 28th Poush; To sanction 14.40% stock dividend.

Janata Bank Nepal, One of the youngest commercial bank has announced to have its 8th AGM on Friday, 28th Poush  2074 (12th January, 2018) at  Amritbhog, Kalikashan, Kathmandu. 

Time: 11 am 

The major Agendas for the meeting are:

(i) Financial Highlights 2073/74

(ii) Election of BoD

(iii) Approval of 14.4% stock dividend 

(iv) Amend AOA and MOA. 

The book closure date for the AGM has been set from Poush 11 to poush 28th. Only the shareholders having the shares at the time of bookclosure will be eligible for the dividend. 

The Bank currently has a paid-up capital of Rs 6.99 billion. It will successfully meet the capital requirement of Rs 8 billion after the distribution of the proposed bonus share. The bank had opted for merger and acquisition with two development banks, namely Siddhartha Development Bank and Triveni Bikas Bank resp. 

The bank had earned a net profit of Rs 6.48 crores as of 1st quarter. It has an annualized EPS of Rs 3.71 and a Networth of Rs 127.06. The bank has a LTP of Rs 240.
