Janata Bank urges shareholders to pay tax for bonus shares ; Check out your tax amount

The 8th AGM of Janata Bank held on 28th Poush, 2074 has approved the issuance of 14.40% bonus share to the shareholders. The bonus share is out of the net profit earned in fy 2073/74.

The bank had not proposed any cash dividend, thus the shareholders buying and holding janata bank shares after 30th Asar, 2074 are urged to pay tax for the bonus shares. The company had not proposed cash for tax purpose as the merged entities are exempted from bonus tax. 

The shareholders can submit the tax in the bank account of Janata Bank Nepal Limited , Account Number 236000019. The amount can be submitted from any branches of janata bank. The amount can also be deposited in Jyoti Bikas Bank, account holder name "Kathmandu Capital Market Limited", Account Number 00100100090458000001. 

The Deposit voucher has to be submitted in Kathmandu Capital Market in order to receive the bonus shares.
