Shivam Cement to become the first cement company to float IPO ; Issue price Rs 400 for general public
Following the approval from Securities board of Nepal (SEBON), Shivam Cement will now become the first cement company to issue IPO. The company will issue 52.80 lakh unit shares at a premium price.
The company will issue shares at Rs 300 to local projected affected people and at Rs 400 to general public. Shivam will issue (2% of issued capital) 8.80 lakh unit shares to project affected people whereas 44 lakh units (10% of issed capital) will be issued to general public.
Siddhartha Capital has been appointed as the issue manager for the issue.
ICRA Nepal has assigned Grade 3 rating to the IPO issuance.
The production capacity of the company is 1800 tons of clinker and 3000 tons of cement. The plant is located in Hetauda of Makwanpur. Shivam cement was started 7 years back at an initial investment of 4 arba.
