Surya Life Insurance conducting 10th AGM today ; to sanction 12% bonus and 70% right issue

Surya Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL) will conduct its tenth AGM today i.e. Ashad 32, 2075. The AGM will be assembled at Hotel Harison Palace, Bajrangbali Margh, Biratnagar at 11 A.M.

For the purpose of the AGM, the shareholders register book remained closed from Ashadh 17 till Ashadh 23, i.e the shareholders holding shares till Ashadh 16 are eligible to participate in the today’s AGM.

Major Agendas of AGM :

• To sanction the decision for the issuance of 70% right shares.
• To endorse 12% bonus shares for its shareholders on the paid up capital of Rs 1.01 arba (adjusted after 40% right issuance)
• To amend the Memorandum of Association and Article of Association to increase the capital of the insurance company
• Endorsement of audited financial report for the FY 2073/74
