Chhimek Laghubitta's Net Profit dips by 19% ; EPS Stands at Rs 47.76

Chhimek Laghubitta has published the report for 3rd quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75.

As per the report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 35.81 crores till the end of 3rd quarter. The net profit was Rs 44.37 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. This accounts for a decline of  19.27%. CBBL now has an eps of Rs 47.76

A decent growth is seen both in the interest income and interest expense of the company. Due to dominance of Interest expense growth, net interest income has dipped by 3% to Rs 90.91 crores. 

Staff expense rose significantly to Rs 41.69 crores from 28.04 crores in the previous year. The operating expense also surged to Rs 7.47 crores from Rs 6.57 crores. 

Company’s operating profit has decreased significantly by 19% to Rs 55.87 crores. 

Borrowing has declines to Rs 3.90 arba, from Rs 4 arba last year. Similarly, Company's lending has increased by 32% to Rs 16.13 arba.
