Everest Insurance shows net profit of 3.34 crore in 3rd quarter; EPS stands at 30.27

Everest Insurance has published the 3rd quarter report for the current fiscal year. 

As per the report, the company has earned a  net profit of Rs 3.34 crores. The same was Rs 2.11 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. EIC currently has an EPS of Rs 30.27.

 EIC has collected a net premium of Rs 7.84 crore, the same was Rs 8.39 crore last year. Similarly, the net claims throughout the period amounted to Rs 2.64 crore, up from Rs 3.02 crore in the previous year. The company has 35.6 thousand policies, the same was 12.97 thousand last year. 

The insurance company paid a fee of Rs 1,20 crore to the agents. The same amounted to Rs 64 thousand in the corresponding quarter of the previous fy. 

EIC currently has a paid-up capital of Rs 13.36 crore and a general reserve of 10.49 crore.
