Himalayan Distillery reports an astounding 178% rise in Net profit; EPS escalates to Rs 66.83
Himalayan Distillery has published the 3rd quarter report for the fiscal year 2074/75.
As per the report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 19.32 crores. This accounts for tremendous rise of 178% as compared to the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal year. The company had earned 6.93 crores last year. This results a rise in per share earning, as it has now escalated to Rs 66.83
The company saw a significant rise in the gross income, as it has now surged to Rs 76.27 crores from Rs 50.68 crores last year. Though the company's other operating income decreased and the expenses increased in the review period, the growth in revenue was strong enough to bring a surge in Net profit.
HDL earned Rs 1.61 arba as reveue against Rs 1.22 arba last year.
The rise in sales of "Golden Oak" has shown a positive impact on the revenue of the company. Similarly, the compny has announced the commencement in production and sales of another brand of liquor named "Black Oak" , it is further expected to contrinute in company's reveue.
HDL has a paid up capital of Rs 38.56 crores and a reserve of Rs 30.64 crores.
