Nerude Laghubitta net profit slips by 52.53% ; Per share earning stands at Rs 16.25

Nerude Laghubitta has published the report for 3rd quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75.

As per the report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 3.72 crores till the end of 3rd quarter. The net profit was Rs 7.85 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. This accounts for a significant decline of 52.53%. NLBBL now has an eps of Rs 16.25

A decent growth is seen both in the interest income and interest expense of the company. Due to dominance of Interest expense growth, net interest income has dipped meagerly by 4.48% to Rs 22.58 crores. 

Company’s operating profit too has slipped tremendously by 52.53% to Rs 3.72 crores. Significant increase in staff expense and rise in provision are the main reason for the profit decline.

Deposit collection has increased to Rs 1.40 arba, from Rs 1.03 arba last year. Similarly, Company's lending has increased by 25.45% to Rs 3.75 arba.

The company currently has a paid up capital of Rs 30.60 crores and a reserve of Rs 26.27 crores.
