Sanima Bank's net profit surged by 32.51% in 2nd quarter; NPL as low as 0.03%
Sanima Bank Limited has published its 2nd quarter report for the FY 2074/75. The net profit of this Commercial bank has increased by 32.51%.
As per the published report, SANIMA has earned a net profit of Rs 82.48 crore. The profit was Rs 62.24 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year. A surge of 31.03% is noticed in company's operational profit. It amounts to Rs 1.25 arba, it was Rs 95.40 crores in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year.
The commercial bank's net interest income has increased to Rs 1.33 arba, up from Rs 1.09 arba. This shows a rise of 22.17%. Company's interest income has surged by 72.22%, whereas interest expense escalated by 124.56%.
SANIMA has collected a total deposit of Rs 68.40 arba, approx. 32.07% more than that collected last year. Total lending has increased by approx. 29% in the review period.
On the positive side,
- The company has shown a balanced growth in both deposit and lending.
- The operating profit has surged in the review period.
- SANIMA now has an adequate capital with CAR at 13.10%.
On the negative side,
- A decline in per share earnings of the company.
- Tight CCD ratio.
- Huge increment in Interest expense
- A high increase in staff expenses.
